About Me

I'm Adam.
I like long walks at 4am. I rely too much on cigarettes and caffeine. & I plan the most tedious of things. I often shut myself off from the people I love. I crave change I crave routine & Control I hate the expense of my smoking habits, and the way the weather never seems to fit the mood. I hate Doctors and and the NHS, but i love winter. I'm tired of having nothing to do, nowhere to be. I live to be unorganized, yet i love routine. Im a mirror-image of No Control.
((The__Nasty__Details))
I am pale, thin, and i wear Platform's which are bigger than your face.I consider myself an understanding person, i understand suffering and i love to express myself.Im overly-sarcastic, and i do not conform. I can be nasty, but being nice got me nowhere.I am an Escapist, misanthropist, and most importantly,i am Me.
I have the following Body modifications:
Snakebites. Tongue. Bridge/earl. Nose(both sides). Nape(x2). Navel. Right ear= Scaffold/industrial, 10mm plug, 3 x lobe. Left ear= Tragus, 10mm plug, 2x lobe, 3 x cartlidge. And some tattooosss...
I live in a Boring town, in the middle of Essex, England. I dont mind England, i just dont like Essex. I wont go into details of why. I guess my freedom was granted to me early, i left school early, due to several issue's, i have freedom in style, thought, expression and the lifestyle that i choose to live. It's the perfect situation, freedom, with little responsibility. Sound's perfect, but not alway's. I dont know many thing's about my life, im only starting to know about myself. I do not have a plan in life, i just dont want to turn out like my parent's. I do not wish to follow a conventional lifestyle.
I dislike the way 'alternative kids', still seem to follow set idol's. Indvidulism come's from within, not through store based fashion items. I dont mix too well with most people my age. I find the [majority] of my age-group focus too much on how they look, and live dull and boring lives. Prove me wrong?
I dont have much in common with alot of people, and i dont particulary fit in with people who simply dress like i do. But that's okay, year's of being on the outside, has let me see the truth. I analyize peoples characteristics, i am very observant. Im more of a watcher, than a participant. Im also pretty un-organized. Im working on it.
Although my image is only a small part of me, i like to bring it up to it's own level. I believe in being extreme, and admire individual, weird and wonderful style's, because there is nothing worse, than being ordinary. I change my image very frequently, i change my hair colour every couple of weeks, i wear ridiculous amount's of eyeliner, platform boots that are bigger than your face, and adorn my body in tattoo's and piercing's,and i love it. I do not conform to other people's standard's.
I dont want an ordinary mediocre life, i want to dabble in a bit of everything, sit back on my death bed, and say it was all worth it.As of now, i'd like to work in a piercing and tattoo parlor.Work as a journalist for alternative music/ fashions maagzines, and be a photogrpaher. Not all at once, obviously.
I have a few beliefs, religion. Though i dont idenitfy completley, with any religion. Though i do take interest in Paganism. My few beliefs are Karma, afterlife, rebirth, Fate, Higher power, and universal energies which can be altered and put to use, through the use of the inner will. I have always believed that there are thing's that are bigger than us. Im open-minded in this area.
As for comment's, If you have nothing better to say other than 'Your hot', Please dont bother. I have no interest to be honest, in what you think of how i look.Sure, compliments are fine, but they dont particulary flatter me anymore, especially when i dont even know you. I'd like to talk to people who i can have decent conversation's with, and that's not something i get to do often. If you believe that a picture speaks a thousand words, you will see that mine do not.

It has come to my attention that some people mix the terms of Punk, Emo and even Gothic with no knowledge of any of the styles. These are not the same. There is a big difference between Goth and Emo. Goths are cool. Emos are just pathetic.I'll just point out that it really was just a music scene, for a long time. Hardcore for nerds! Heavy music without the machismo! It's only recently that people have been using "Emo" to describe a stereotype. Emo comes from "emotional hardcore" music (Hardcore is about energy, power, even headbanging… but nothing related to emotive. Never combine both words, that’s stupid, like saying “Satanic Kinder”… it’s just really stupid in my opinion), but is currently used as a sort of short-hand for "emotional." Emo also described a nerd clothing style. Go watch an old Weezer MTV video... note the thick black glasses, the kahkis, the tracksuits, the sweaters, etc. Thrift store stuff. Now, however, Emo is kind of an insult (at least for me!) Goth is not. Emo teens are seen as taking life too seriously and invoking drama in life where it doesn't exist. (Because other teenagers NEVER do that. Other teenagers are paragons of emotional stability! It's just the Emos who act like Tom Cruise! Yeah!) In the past few years, Emo has moved away from nerd clothes and into black, black, and more black. Dyed black hair. Piercings. Tattoos. Dark make-up, black eyeliner. Hmm... sounds like Goth, eh? Nope! Here are some differences:Punks: Individuals Rebelious Tough Can be "trouble" Goths: Individuals Quite Diverse Open-minded Emos: Suck Conforming Ridiculous Fake.Yeah they are. Conforming, fake, posers. And if your teaching someone that Emos are cool, well, let’s just say you've ruined his/her life. Congrats!.Emos are ignorant (and they are all posers). Nothing else.Emos are so ignorant it makes me want to gauge my eyes out with a pencil. There are idiots out there that think there's no difference between the gothic subculture and the Emo scene. Plenty difference!! Gothic people (generally, not saying all) are into dark romanticism, poetry, fantasy, renaissance/Victorian fashion, tragedies, and they're actually very mellow/down-to-earth. It's not religion-based (although they've been stereotyped as Satanists, pagans, atheists, and practitioners of Wicca <--which I am). Some are very mopey/sad but unlike Emos we're not trying to make a lot of noise about it; in fact, we really don't complain that much, we mostly celebrate our disconnection from the corrupt norm of society. Though we may make complaints it's usually because we're being attacked/discriminated against. Also, Goth wasn't sparked by some kind of music scene like Emo was. It's even worse when people categorize all punk music as "Emo". The punk style is perhaps the most known and mainstream of all of the "alternative" styles. It has been around and simply stands for being different--rebelling against conformity. The style evolved from alternative punk music. The latest thing to come alive in the alternative music scene is "Emo" music. People have all sorts of ways of defining it, but simply put, it means emotional punk. The cliché image with the Emo style is guys wearing tight jeans and combing their long hair over their faces. While punk and Emo styles can be interchangeable, I'm sick of hearing a bunch of people call all punkers Emo. I was wearing a studded belt the other day and some ignorant guy asked me if I listened to depressing music because I wore an Emo belt. It's not an Emo belt! At the least, it can be attributed to an element from the punk style. There wouldn't be such a big problem with the mixing of these terms if people didn't have such hardwired classifications. Emo, after all, came from a music movement. This goes to show what an impact music has on our lives. It's great to show emotion in your music (I listen to all kinds of music) but just because you listen to something doesn't mean you slit your wrists etc. It's annoying to hear people calling you Emo (very annoying, at least it is if you aren’t an Emo poser). In my opinion, calling someone a punk is fine... that style is more accepted as an actual style.
